Dual-primal FETI algorithms for edge element approximations in three dimensions
While dual-primal FETI domain decomposition algorithms are now routinely
employed for the solution of huge elasticity and flow problems, a full
understanding of these methods for three-dimensional electromagnetic
problems
is still missing.
In this talk, we will show that the standard basis for edge elements
is not well-suited for nonoverlapping domain decomposition and a local
change of basis therefore appears to be necessary.
Once this change of basis is performed, we are able to devise families
of dual-primal FETI algorithms in a relatively straightforward way.
We will present some choices for the coarse solve and discuss
the performance of the corresponding algorithms
