Advanced numerical methods for complex applications of flow and transport problems in porous media

In this lecture advanced algorithms for numerical modelling of radioactive contaminants transport in flowing groundwater will be introduced. Such algorithms include, among others, high-resolution numerical schemes using local grid adaptivity. The emphasize will be given on numerical methods for system of convection dominated transport equations
